Samir Sayed Ahmad began his professional journey as the CEO and General Manager of Aster Group, a family-owned business established over 20 years ago in Lebanon. Under his leadership, Aster Group became a prominent player in design and build contracting and general trading, primarily specializing in the wholesale of food products. His strategic direction and commitment to quality have been instrumental in the group’s sustained growth.

Expansion to Saudi Arabia
Recognizing the potential for growth, Samir extended the group’s operations to Saudi Arabia, where he assumed the role of CEO of Pillars Middle East Design & Fitout. This branch specialized in office furniture solutions, delivering numerous unique projects across the Kingdom. Building on its success, Samir expanded the company’s portfolio to include retail fitout and F&B interior design, establishing Pillars Middle East as a leader in the Saudi market.

Pillars Middle East UAE – A Turning Point
In 2020, Samir took a bold step by founding Pillars Middle East Design & Fitout in the UAE, further diversifying the group’s portfolio. With a focus on fitout services for retail, F&B, and corporate spaces, the UAE branch quickly became a benchmark for innovation and quality in the region. Additionally, Samir oversaw the establishment and management of the group’s state-of-the-art factories in the UAE, enhancing production capabilities and ensuring complete control over quality and delivery timelines.
